Your island just got a whole lot bigger. TamagoFit 2.0 is our biggest update yet, and it's all about making every step count a little more.

Here's a tour of what's new, from your own player profile to a monster that wanders, waves and poses for photos.

Your player profile

You now have your own player level, and it's yours for good: it stays with you whatever happens to your monster. Earn purple player XP from achievements, weekly and monthly quests, every new species you discover and every active day.

Every five levels you earn a new title (Explorer, Wanderer, Pathfinder, Trailblazer, Ranger, Voyager and beyond), and player levels 5, 15, 25 and 50 each unlock an exclusive avatar you can't get anywhere else.

  • Achievements are now permanent: start over and keep your trophies
  • New achievements and weekly quests to chase
  • Pick a unique player name
  • Choose your avatar (more in the Shop) and show it off in Training

Walk with your friends

Share your friend code (or enter a friend's code) to add each other, then visit their islands and send high-fives.

Feeling encouraging? Cheer a friend on to walk today. If they reach their steps that day, you both earn a little player XP and a friendship point. Grow from Good buddies to Great and Best buddies to unlock exclusive avatars and an island flag.

Season Pass: Pumpkin Night

Our very first season runs for six weeks. Complete daily, weekly and brand-new monthly quests to climb 30 tiers and collect spooky avatars and treats.

The free track is open to everyone. An optional Premium track adds even more rewards: it's a one-time purchase for the season and it never auto-renews.

Training, rebuilt from scratch

Fight other monsters in a brand-new real-time arena with health bars. Win by KO, by ring-out or on the clock, using charged attacks, specials and your guard.

It's easy to pick up and hard to master, and it's still three fights a day, so it never replaces your walk. New players unlock Training after their first few player levels.

Make your island yours

Three new island themes: Sakura, Tropical and Halloween, each with its own skies from sunrise to night. Halloween is only on sale until the end of November, and once it's yours, you keep it forever.

Decorate, too. Plant flags (France, USA, Canada, Pirate or Halloween) and lanterns (Golden, Sakura, Tropical or Pumpkin) that light up in the evening. Your island has four decoration spots.

A monster that really lives

Your monster now explores the island, stops to look around, reacts when you tap it and greets you when you come back. Leave the app open for a minute and just watch.

The island lives too: butterflies and falling leaves by day, fireflies and shooting stars at night.

Photo moments

When something cute happens, a little camera bubble pops up. Tap it and the HUD fades away, your monster strikes a pose, and you get a polaroid tinted to your island theme, with your monster's name, level, the date and “Walk. Hatch. Evolve.”

Save it to Photos (we only ask for add-only access) or share it with the iOS share sheet. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers.

A brand-new soundtrack

Cozy music and ambience that follow the time of day and your island, a sound for every tap and reward, and your monster now has a voice of its own. Music and sound effects have separate volumes, and TamagoFit plays nicely with your own music and podcasts.
